Friday, headed to the HUF sample sale.... It was worth it and then it wasnt worth it. Got there like an hour after it started, line went around the damn corner, and they only let 10 people in at a time, so we waited 3 damn hours to get in. Saved alot on alot of goodies though, it was like at least 80% off. Sucked though because I missed my make-up materials and tools class, but got that sorted out today so it was all good.
Then headed to 1 AM Gallery's shop wars with Ray and Joanne from Dragatomi, sick ass show in every way. Bomb food, amazing customs and pieces, and super chill people. Met FreshCharacters, and got to paint a giant Qee with him, which was dope. Big ups to Drilone for representing Dragatomi with an amazing custom, for more coverage check out Spanky Stokes.

After that went to go kick it with my man Jon Reyes of Delorean, big ups to that whole crew at Sudachi for being so chill, and shoutout to Nick of 12FtDwende, dude is mad chill and might see some collabs with them from me in the future.

Saturday morning sucked because my bus was cancelled, but turned out to be good because I got to walk through the Farmer's Market at the Ferry Building on the Embarcadero, too bad I was out of cash because there was some delicious ass looking food out there. Next weekend I stay in SF, I'm getting up early to head out there. The rest of Saturday was the usual adventures, Raelyn's play, GC'ing, Food stops, the usual. Sunday was Dim Sum again with the fam, then back over to the city.

Wow, usually don't type this much, but I guess I was in the mood. I need to go to bed, shit load of hw in the morning. PEACE.

Rest in peace second saturday. A fucked up mixture of Sac PD being assholes, and dumbass poser high school kids killed it. The police were just jerks in their enforcements, making obvious discriminations and ridiculuous accusations. The younger high school kids who came just to get high, drunk, or just decided to show up because all the cool kids were doing it ruined it too by being there for all the wrong reasons. They went to be seen, to look cool, hard and badass. Too bad no one really cared about any of those things. So thanks to these two groups, second saturday will still exist, but has lost all of its meaning in the process. So let me just take this last sentence to say FUCK THE BOTH OF YOU, THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS.

Big props to UnitedState for doing something about it. The Redcup protest was the perfect idea, and worked perfectly. I could ramble on about it's story, but you can read about it on their site. Still wish we could have played Vitamin Water pong though. I'm saving my red cup as a souvenir. In conclusion, 2nd Saturday is done in my eyes, but UnitedState said goodbye to it in the best way possible. I'll still come by for them, but just to watch it die slowly. 2nd Saturday, it was nice knowing you and your fun ass adventures, crazy people, amazing art, and even more amazing music, spirit, and culture, but all good things must come to an end, I suppose.

So busy that, these are old from like a week ago and I havent even had time to go take any new ones :O Just enjoy these for now, more should be coming, if i have time. But, the rest are on my flickr, as usual. Dunny release was today, feel so bad that I wasnt able to go Dragatomi in Sacramento for it, so I represented at the KR Store tonight. Pics from that should be up later when my boy Francis ups those. Got 2 chases on my first 2 boxes, so that made my day. Class, and more class tomorrow, then hopefully back to Sac for 2nd Saturday this weekend. But had to check in. Monday was one of the most LIVE performances I have ever been to. KRS-ONE KILLED it, and he just knows how to get the crowd going. Even in this pic, the dude went INTO the crowd and just kept going. He freestyled more than he performed his regular songs. He got up all on my dude Kevin's face in this one too.

After that the day after, 5 (could've been 3 or 4) dudes killed this. 100 pc. At wingstop.... eliminated, lol.

Alright now back to today, saw Funny People. Movie was not what I expected since the commercials made it seem like it was just another normal comedy, but in the end I actually liked it for other things. It was a real movie which showed real situations which showed the ugly side of life and what can come out of it. I've been liking stuff like that recently, so this was perfect for me. Mixing a drama and comedy together actually seems very difficult, but it was done really well here.

With that said, I need to start getting to bed since I'm gunna hit up Frisco tomorrow, AKA my future home for a minute. Also, learned a few things today but... I'll talk about those later maybe. And when I say maybe, probably not. What's done is done, and the future is coming, and whatever happened doesn't matter, it was never my problem anyway.

2nd saturday came again, and of course it didn't dissapoint. The only thing was that there was too much going on, and I really wish that that there would have been 3 or 4 of me so I wouldn't miss anything. Also glad I got to show my boy Kevin around and to show him that Sac is no joke and that we are becoming something.Also big ups to my friends at Dragatomi for getting Frank Kozik to come down, dude is super chill and really down to earth. Also, he really isn't big headed for how famous he is in the art world. He even said he liked it here and might come back, so I definaltely hope so.

Happy 2nd anniversary Havoc, and for all that you have been doing for the sacramento urban hip hop scene. It's just too bad cops have to be jerks and ruin everything, but the "private party" inside was still dope.

So pretty much this was like the shortest flight I've ever experienced in my life. Security was chill, and not super crowded. Pretty much fell asleep in Sac, woke up in PDX. Didn't get to see much of the city yet, just kicked it at the relative's house the whole day. Should see more tomorrow, and actually everyone goes to bed SUPER early here, I'm just getting started, but I might have to get to bed soon so I don't mess up that pattern again.

I'll work in reverse, so last night was the 4th, not even really my favorite holiday since I'm not even all that proud to be American all the time, and even embarrased sometimes. But my boy Parker invited me over so I was like whatever. Shit was hella funny, and it was quite a night, met new people, saw old friends, overall a good fourth for me not expecting to have one. Today was chill though, just visited my Grandma at the senior home like I do every sunday, nothing else really went down, food network star was good today too, annoying chick went home.

And the day before that was the T.U.S. Bonfire, which was chill, except we didnt get it started as soon as we wanted it to, and were missing some stuff like extra fire wood and even though it only lasted a little over an hour, it was dope, which is interesting because bonfires have been getting hella played out lately since so many people were having them, but ours was better because we had music and freestyling to go along with it, and our shit didnt even get shut down. And damn i just noticed that was a long ass sentence just with alot of commas in it lol.

Yea it's a little grainy, had to use a high-ass ISO because of how dark it was.

Then the day before that, kicked it with my boy Chase, find his blog here. He got me to get some new boots, something i havent done in a long-ass time. I shouldnt have got them though, since im not even really playing for anyone right now. I had to though, theyre limited ed. for the confederations cup and the colorway is just sexy as hell, so I pretty much had no choice.

Let's see, saturday started with opening Dragatomi

Headed to my elementary school reunion. Dope, but I wish more people came.

Back to Dragatomi for a minute to make sure everything was going good, which it was. HELLA people came through, which was sick.

Open mic at Havoc was CRACKINNNNN, more than usual, Jared was killin it on the drums, and Ez got em on the tables.

Shit got gay though when pigs showed up, 7 TIMES LOL. LOL at bumpin JDilla when they were around too
Mothers Day was good, made some food for moms, and kicked it at my aunts house, met my cousin's new puppies

This weekend was one of the best I've had in awhile. I'm not one to narrate on this blog, but foreal screw it, it was hella fun.

Saw the movie club's movie, was really impressed. Dope work, and deep finish. Dumbass Jimmy twittering during half of it though.

After, headed to Soosh's open mic hosted by his church. Sondra was killin' it, even though I made her laugh with my phone haha.

Dayanand's photoshoot on Saturday, messin around. Cops comin up trying to mess with us, and then kickin it at Havoc and Dragatomi, can't wait until they open up.

LOL.

No picture after that, but then it was pretty dope getting to kick it with my BFF Kristen who came down from SF, bless her heart haha. Stuffing our faces with Mizu, then meeting random ass people on the levy was good times. Oh, and then doing that one "art project" with Jimmy and Soosh was fun too, and then just recovering on Sunday. Hope other weekends get as good as this one, too bad it's over and schools tomorrow. I'm not trippin about school anymore though since I passed Senior Project :D so iite, I'll shut up now, peep the flickr or something. Peace.
